János Adorján's "Libelle" airplane

Janos Adorjan designed and built the first aeroplane in Hungary, which he called the "Libelle". It first flew on 10th January 1910 at Budapest. Janos flew it successfully multiple times over the next 1-2 years, after which he built a second airplane which was also successful. Unfortunately for aviation, Janos did not continue his work in this field, instead returning back to his original field of automobile racing.

A detailed and accurate copy of the Libelle is on display at the Hungarian Museum for Science, Technology, and Transport in Budapest.
