Vickers Vimy - First non-stop Atlantic crossing by Alcock & Brown (June 1919)

On 15th June 1919, John Alcock and Arthur Brown landed their Vickers Vimy in a bog in Clifden, Ireland, and in the process became the first people to fly non-stop across the Atlantic. The aircraft in which they flew was a Vickers Vimy. This page is about that particular aircraft.
